As you can already see in the materials for Linux Essentials, they offer short lessons with a clear structure, starting with theoretical basics, guided and open exercises and their solutions.
"The learning materials made available at learning.lpi.org are created in a worldwide network of Open Source and Linux specialists", explains LPI Managing Director G. Matthew Rice. The learning.lpi.org project provides the infrastructure and takes care of quality control and publishing. This ensures an open development process with the community and the required quality.
The source language for all learning materials is English, translations into other languages are planned and for German and French already in progress. Anyone who would like to help with writing, editing or translating is cordially invited. "We welcome supporters who have very good Open Source and Linux skills and work with Git and AsciiDoc files. Another component of learning.lpi.org is the intensive cooperation with publishers, platforms and authors.
